For those of you out there who have never seen LOST (have you been living on another planet?) here is a brief summary of the show and it’s basic premise.

The passengers of Oceanic Flight 185 have crashed onto a tropical island located somewhere in the South Pacific. With their plane left in ruins and all means of contact severed we follow them in their struggle to survive and find rescue whilst stranded but it soon becomes apparent that things are not quite as they seem when the island begins to reveal its strange and disturbing secrets.
Delving deep into each characters background in every episode means that gradually the viewers come to learn more about the residents of the island and a complex and intriguing plotline begins to form that you seriously cannot afford to miss watching…

LOST is created by Jeffrey Lieber J.J. Abrams and Damon Lindelof. It airs on ABC in the US and Channel 4 in the UK and is currently on its third season. It is filmed in Hawaii and has won several Emmy Awards and Golden Globes.
